AEW's Malakai Black To Undergo Character Change

Since making his All Elite Wrestling debut in July, Malakai Black has continued to evolve on Dynamite and Rampage. The corruption on the former NXT Champion's face has only grown in recent months and Black has added black mist to his arsenal in recent weeks, using it to defeat Cody Rhodes in their second match. 

More changes to Black's character are coming and Black told Giant FM Real Radio his look and behaviour will be altered in the next couple of weeks. 

"In the next two weeks, you're going to see a very interesting change in the aesthetics and behaviour within the character," Black said. 

The PWG Tag Team Champion also reflected on his feud with Cody Rhodes and Black believes he and Cody are destined to wrestle "time and time again."

"My fate within AEW is bonded to him. We will weave in and out and clash time and time again. He brings out the worst and best in me. He's a cunning and skilled wrestler. He's dangerous and has a great mind, which is dangerous for me. I've been up to par with him, and been able to get ahead of him. There will always be plans, but unspoken plans. We'll always clash," Malakai added.
