Knockouts Title Match Set For IMPACT Emergence

A big Knockouts World Title match has been set for the Emergence IMPACT Plus special that will air from Chicago, Illinois, on August 12. 

Mia Yim and Deonna Purrazzo went one-on-one in a number one contender's match on Thursday's episode of IMPACT Wrestling and after a back and forth encounter, Yim picked up the win to earn a title shot. Yim and Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace then shook hands after the match, with it being announced they will face off at Emergence next month. 

Grace has been Knockouts World Champion since she won a Queen Of The Mountain Match at Slammiversary on June 19. She then successfully defended the title for the first time on July 1 against former champion Tasha Steelz at Against All Odds.

Mia Yim returned to IMPACT Wrestling after five years away at Under Siege in May of 2022. She performed as Jade during her first run with the promotion and is a former Knockouts World Champion, having held the gold for 87 days in 2016.

No other matches have been announced for IMPACT Emergence as of yet.
