Knockouts World Title Match Set For IMPACT Emergence

IMPACT Emergence 2023 set to feature a Knockouts World Championship match

IMPACT are gearing up for their next standalone IMPACT Plus special, with Emergence set for August 27, hot on the heels of IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2.

At Emergence, the Knockouts World Championship will be on the line, with Trinity set to put the title on the line against former champion Deonna Purrazzo in Toronto, Canada. Purrazzo laid out the challenge on the July 27 edition of IMPACT Wrestling TV, invoking her rematch clause after Trinity & Dani Luna had prevailed in tag team action.

Also announced for Emergence, Time Machine (The Motor City Machine Guns & KUSHIDA) and Josh Alexander will face Bully Ray, Moose, Brian Myers, and Lio Rush in eight-man tag action. This all came about after The Time Splitters picked up a win against Myers and Moose on July 27, leading to all eight men facing off in a mass brawl. This marked Sabin’s first appearance in IMPACT since Rush blindsided him and beat him for the X-Division Championship at Slammiversary.

Updated card for IMPACT Emergence - August 27, 2023:

  • Trinity (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo - Knockouts World Championship
  • Time Machine & Josh Alexander vs. Bully Ray, Moose, Brian Myers, & Lio Rush
  • IWGP World Heavyweight Chamipion SANADA will be in action
