All Elite Wrestling’s women’s division has once again come under the spotlight, with decreased visibility for the division across AEW TV receiving condemnation from fans.

A fan sign critical of Tony Khan’s booking of the division was shown on AEW Dynamite on July 26, with Saraya seemingly frustrated with the direction of the division.

It seems that the issues surrounding the women’s division may not just boil down to a lack of screen-time, with indy wrestling legend LuFisto posting on Twitter that there are seemingly deeper problems in the locker room:

“It's cute how people blame booking for a bad women's division. Talent with too much power; talent denigrating each other; talent trash-talking potential employees so they never get in as soon as they walk in… It starts here - The one you called FN French Canadian a**hole” posted alongside a gif. of Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka looking on in disbelief.

LuFisto did not name names, but her comments created a ton of discussion online. LuFisto last worked for AEW in April 2022, teaming with Emi Sakura and The Bunny in a loss against Anna Jay, Skye Blue, and Ruby Soho on an episode of Dark: Elevation.
