Konosuke Takeshita To Make AEW TV In-Ring Debut On Rampage

Konosuke Takeshita will make his AEW TV in-ring debut on Friday's edition of Rampage from Baltimore, Maryland. 

Takeshita appeared on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite and the DDT star was approached by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh, who took exception to the attention that Takeshita had been given. Lethal then challenged Takeshita to a match. 

Takeshita is currently on his second excursion to AEW and he has picked up two wins on Dark: Elevation against Rhett Titus and Brandon Cutler since his return in April. He was also in action at Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's recent show on May 1, defeating Aramis.

The DDT star previously wrestled in a handful of AEW matches in April 2021. 

Three matches had already been announced for Rampage, including Yuka Sakazaki vs. Riho in an Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament qualifier, HOOK vs. JD Drake, and Ruby Soho and Toni Storm vs. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.
