Kurt Angle Addresses Stephanie McMahon's WWE Resignation

What did Kurt Angle make of Stephanie McMahon's decision to resign?

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has weighed in on the recent resignation of former WWE Co-CEO and Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie resigned from WWE last week, following the announcement that her father Vince McMahon had returned to the company's Board of Directors as Executive Chairman.

Speaking on a recent edition of his The Kurt Angle Show podcast, the Olympic Hero expressed his surprise at Stephanie's decision, but was full of praise for her work as a boss.

"I'm surprised. I didn't expect Stephanie to resign", Angle said.

"I'm not sure if she did it because of her father, but she is a classy woman. She was a great employer. she reminded me a lot of Vince in many ways. I think that's why he trusted the company with her, but I'm just really surprised that she resigned", the former WWE Champion added.

Angle and Stephanie worked together for many years in WWE, both behind-the-scenes and on-screen. They were involved in a memorable 'love triangle' storyline (along with Triple H) in the summer of 2000.

Kurt is currently signed to WWE on a Legend's deal.
