Samoa Joe’s first WWE release was met with anger. His second earlier this month, was met with resigned frustration. But many wrestling fans cling to a silver lining, hoping that Joe will lace up his boots and return to in-ring competition, and Kurt Angle is with them.
Speaking on the Kurt Angle Show podcast, Angle was asked what he thinks his TNA rival will do next, saying: “I believe we haven’t seen the last of him. I think he has more time left, I think he has more in the tank and he’s gonna produce for the fans.”
A former ROH, TNA, and NXT Champion, Joe has over 20 years of experience under his belt, and Angle thinks this makes Joe an incredible mentor to younger talent:
“Well, he has incredible knowledge and he is one of the most articulate individuals I’ve ever known,” continued Angle. “Joe can cut a promo like nobody else, his in-ring skills are incredible and what he has as far as athleticism, he has a lot to teach the young talent. I think that he would be an incredible teacher. I hope he continues to be one.”
