Ahh wrestling. When it’s good it’s good, but when it’s bad it’s downright awful.

When thinking of the worst wrestling angles fans will usually mention the likes of Katie Vick or David Arquette, and TNA fans in particular may mention Claire Lynch - the 2012 storyline involving AJ Styles, Dixie Carter, accusations of infidelity, and matches where DNA paternity tests were on the line.

Another peripheral player in the Claire Lynch saga was Kurt Angle, and when asked for his opinion on the saga, Angle didn’t hold back, saying the following on the Kurt Angle Show podcast:

“I don’t know, it just was a little weird having this girl as part of the storyline. I guess she was an addict and Dixie was trying to help her and AJ was trying to help her, but then it got like so out of control that Dixie and AJ were accused of having an affair. There was just some crazy s*** going on,” said Angle. “I didn’t like the storyline at all. I don’t think it did any good for AJ. I don’t think it did any good for Dixie. It just wasn’t a good storyline; it was one of the worst ones.”
