Kurt Angle Expects Randy Orton To Return From Injury Very Soon

Another update on Randy Orton, this time from Kurt Angle

Randy Orton has been out of action for over a year but WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle believes Orton will be back on WWE TV "pretty damn soon."

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show about Orton, Angle stated: "He's doing good, man. He's recovered from his back surgery. I think he's going to come back pretty damn soon. He's doing much better, yes."

Orton was written off WWE TV in May 2022 due to a serious back injury and he has since underwent back fusion surgery. Rumours around WrestleMania 39 suggested Orton could be on his way back to TV but it was made clear the 14-time world champion's issues were so bad he was "nowhere close" to a return.

Orton's father "Cowboy" Bob Orton has since claimed that Randy was told by doctors that he shouldn't wrestle again. The 43-year-old appears to be planning to come back anyway as he ordered new wrestling boots for a return earlier this year.

Prior to taking time off, Orton was one-half of RK-Bro with Matt Riddle. If WWE will revisit that pairing when Orton returns is unknown.
