Kurt Angle Is A Fan Of IMPACT Wrestling's Return To "TNA"

Kurt Angle supports IMPACT's change to TNA

IMPACT Wrestling is making a big change at the start of 2024, rebranding back to the TNA Wrestling name, announcing this at the recent Bound For Glory PPV event. There has been a lot of support for this decision amongst fans, talent, and alumni, and someone else who is on board with the change is multi-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

When speaking on his podcast, Angle spoke on this change and said that he loves that it is happening.

"I think it's a great idea. I mean, that's what the fans were into back then. It gives them a feel that they're coming back, you know? The old-school TNA is coming back and I love that.”

He signed with the promotion back in 2006, and became the first man to hold the “TNA World Heavyweight Championship”, making history as they transitioned out of using the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title as their number one belt. Angle remained with the promotion for a decade.
