Kurt Angle Names Samoa Joe As 'One Of The Best' He's Ever Wrestled

No one will disagree

Kurt Angle has hailed Samoa Joe as 'one of the best wrestlers' he has ever got to work with.

Angle and Joe had a dream rivalry upon the Olympic Gold Medallist's move to TNA in 2006, with the duo feuding over the World Championship for a number of months, and the WWE Hall of Famer also took on Joe in one of his final matches in WWE as a part of his 'retirement tour' in 2019.

Angle has a lot of praise for Joe, describing him simply as one of the very best he's ever wrestled during his career.

Speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Angle said: "Joe was really physical, he was technical. One of the best athletes I've ever been in the ring with, and that's saying a lot considering Joe's a bigger guy.

"He's a 300-pounder, doesn't look like a bodybuilder by any means, but, man, he could go. This guy is one of the best wrestlers I've got in the ring with."
