When people think about the top wrestlers in the history of the business, Shawn Michaels is often named within the top 10, having competed in some of WWE's best-ever matches.

Someone who holds The Heartbreak Kid in high regard is Kurt Angle and the WWE Hall Of Famer believes Michaels is "the best overall entertainer in the history of wrestling."

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show about their 2005 feud, Angle said: "He is not stiff, you don't even feel it. He barely touches you, that's what makes him such a pro. I don't know if he's ever stiffed anybody, Shawn is that good. He's able to gauge shots, punches, kicks. His athleticism in the ring, he's unbelievable. He does things that nobody else can do and he's the jack of all trades.

"Across the board, he's the best overall entertainer in the history of wrestling. Ric Flair is up there, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Jericho too, especially late in his career the way he's going. Shawn is probably in a class of his own."

Angle and Michaels would feud for several months in 2005, with their rivalry concluding in a 30-minute Iron Man Match in October. Angle recently spoke about the match and admitted he and Michaels were disappointed that the feud ended in a draw.
