Kurt Angle Wants Finn Balor Vs. AJ Styles To Main Event WWE WrestleMania
Bullet Club vs. Bullet Club? Angle wants it at Mania
As we creep ever closer to WrestleMania season, us wrestling fans will start predicting the card, pitching dream matches, and contemplating on those matches that should have been and could have been.
Those in the wrestling business aren’t immune from speculation and predictions either, with Kurt Angle giving his opinions on the latest episode of the Kurt Angle Show podcast.
After being asked who he’d have as the faces of RAW and SmackDown, Angle also revealed what he’d book for a WrestleMania main event if he was in charge:
“My two champions are the two best in the company, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton,” Angle said. “But, WrestleMania main event, a new one and one I would love to see would be AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor. I think that match would be incredible, and I would love to see that at WrestleMania as a main event. Both those guys are unbelievable in the ring.”
Despite their history as former leaders of NJPW’s Bullet Club, Styles and Balor have only ever wrestled twice, once as opponents in a six-man tag match at MJPW Wrestle Kingdom II, and once in a singles bout at WWE TLC 2017.
