Kushida To Challenge Darby Allin For TNT Title On 1/18 AEW Dynamite
Plus the All-Atlantic title will be defended
NJPW star Kushida will appear on this coming Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite, where he will challenge TNT champion Darby Allin for the title.
After departing WWE earlier last spring, Kushida returned in June to New Japan, where he is a six time former Junior Heavyweight champion. Kushida most recently competed in the Super Junior Tag League, teaming with Kevin Knight.
Also set for Wednesday's Dynamite is an All-Atlantic title match, in which champion Orange Cassidy will defend against Jay Lethal. Lethal joined associates Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt in beating down Danhausen and Golden Globe-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser in a segment during Friday's Rampage, compelling Cassidy and Best Friends to make the save.
The current card for Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, taking place at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA, includes the following:
