Kyle O'Reilly: Adam Cole Deserves To Be In The WWE NXT Title Match

Kyle O'Reilly has admitted during an interview with Fightful that Adam Cole deserves to be in the NXT Title match at TakeOver: In Your House. 

"I'm strictly professional. I know what Adam Cole has done and what he's capable of and what he's accomplished. 100 percent, he deserves to be in the match and he played it smart by somehow weaselling his way into it. Can't fault him for being a smart guy," Kool Kyle said. 

"It was extremely personal building up to TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. We had it out and now, I've been able to move past it. I see Adam Cole and we're bitter and hate each other, but it's not quite the same. I feel I was able to vanquish that demon from my past that was Adam Cole in the previous match and now, moving forward, my main focus isn't about hurting Adam Cole, it's about becoming NXT Champion. That's 100 percent where my focus is."

O'Reilly and Cole were previously longtime friends, but the former NXT Champion betrayed his fellow Undisputed ERA members at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day. Cole and O'Reilly then went one on one in an Unsanctioned Match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver which Kyle won. 

O'Reilly and Cole will be in action on Sunday when they join Karrion Kross, Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano in a Fatal Five-Way for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: In Your House.
