LA Knight Reveals His Style Sometimes Gets Him In Trouble With WWE Management
He's not a fan of being totally scripted

Since ditching the Max Dupri persona, LA Knight has achieved a great deal of success on WWE's main roster and currently finds himself in the midst of a run as United States Champion.
His rise up the card has not been without its battles, however, as the 42-year-old recently revealed to SPORTbible.
According to Knight, his preference for spontaneity can sometimes be at odds with WWE management's approach, occasionally landing him in hot water.
"Sometimes I get myself in trouble because I like to work a little more off the cuff, and sometimes they [WWE management] like a little structure. I try to meet them in the middle on that. For me, I want to listen and react instead of thinking of all this prefab. It didn't feel right to me.
"If I want to be as authentic as I can be and connect with everybody out there, I need to listen. Instead of going out there pre-planned, just being able to be authentically me has been a godsend. Sometimes I have to meet them in the middle, but for the most part, they're like, 'We'll let you do your thing, but just don't push it!'" he said.
Knight looks set to feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, who returned to WWE television on last week's edition of SmackDown and attacked the US champ.
