Cody Rhodes Says WWE WrestleMania 41 'Will Surprise You All'
Cody Rhodes is already teasing things for WrestleMania
Nov 18, 2024
Though the two-day event is still several months away, speculation and rumour are rife as to what could go down at WrestleMania 41.
Much of this centres on the participation of The Rock, who wrestled his first match longer than six seconds in over a decade at this year's show.
One of The Great One's opponents in that match, Cody Rhodes, was asked whether The Rock will be involved next year while speaking to Adrian Hernandez at ComplexCon, to which The American Nightmare said:
"Well, I mean this, and I don't mean this in a smart-aleck-type way, but Rock is the director of the board, the man that is the Final Boss. Dwayne Johnson is different from the final boss. His outside-the-box thinking with Nick Khan and Triple H is part of WWE's record era, part of this WWE Netflix era. So whether he's in the ring or not, he is very much still involved with what happens at 41. I know when he comes back, I know who he'll come looking for, I know what to expect. But what I can say about WrestleMania 41 is: keep the rumours going, keep them churning, enjoy the discourse, but I think what you will get will surprise you all".
As of last month, The Rock was not confirmed for WrestleMania 41, but the ball remains in the 52-year-old's court.
