Latest On Rumours Of The Rock Not Being Planned For WWE WrestleMania 41

The Rock's status for WWE WrestleMania 41 has been up in the air in recent days following a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter which stated that Dwayne Johnson had told WWE he would be unavailable for the company's biggest show of 2025.

The Rock appeared to dismiss the report, though, telling a fan on Instagram, "Don't believe any of that bullsh*t."

In an update, Dave Meltzer has since stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Rock was not confirmed for WrestleMania as of Thursday, October 10.

"I know that he was not confirmed for the show as of Thursday, so if something changed, I'll find out, but if he wants to do it, he's doing it. It's up to him. They want to know obviously going into the Royal Rumble where they're going, and at that point we'll see," Meltzer said.

The Rock has been back with WWE since the start of 2024 and he is a part of the TKO Board of Directors. The former WWE Champion made his return in the closing moments of Bad Blood, signalling '1-2-3' to Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
