AEW announcer Tony Schiavone has confirmed that he will remain with the company for the next 4-5 years.

Speaking about AEW's new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery during the post-WrestleDream media scrum, Schiavone noted that he will continue to be a member of the broadcast team for the foreseeable future, saying:

"We're very, very excited about our renewal with Warner Brothers Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico. We're very excited about that. I'm personally excited that my long-time career is going to continue for at least another four to five years or so. I'm honoured to be here".

The 66-year-0ld has been with Tony Khan's promotion since August 2019. As well as his commentary and on-screen interview duties, Schiavone is also a senior producer for the company.

Prior to signing with AEW, he was offered a deal by WWE. However, Schiavone believes Vince McMahon only did this so that he could then fire him.

It has been an eventful 2024 for the veteran announcer, between unexpectedly having Toni Storm's rear end in his face on an episode of Collision to having to leave an episode of Dynamite after losing his voice.
