LA Knight To Be Off WWE TV 'For A While'

On Monday Night RAW this past week, LA Knight fell victim to a brutal assault at the hands of The Vision, raising a lot of uproar online with the belief being shared that the former United States Champion was being “buried”. It was noted not long after RAW that WWE were reportedly confused by the backlash to this angle, with it expected within WWE that Knight will continue to be a big star into 2026.

When it comes to LA Knight’s immediate future in WWE, it has been reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that you shouldn’t expect to see him back for a while. The attack on RAW was done to write him off WWE programming “for a while”. It isn’t stated how long this will be for. 

It was revealed by Fightful Select over the last week that LA Knight was fighting through an unspecified illness during this week’s episode of RAW, though there was no indication in the report that this was the reason why he was written off television in such an impactful fashion.
