Lana On Joining AEW: "Stay Tuned”
Will Lana join husband Miro’s side?
Since Miro arrived in AEW, fans have wondered how long it would be until wife CJ Perry (fka Lana) would join his side, and following Perry’s release from WWE in June speculation has only increased.
Now, during a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Perry was asked about her joining AEW, to which she replied:
"Well, I'm gonna tell you, stay tuned. I can't give everything away. I can't give all the hot tea right now.”
Miro has made constant reference to Perry during his run as The Redeemer on AEW TV, with the former TNT Champion making lewd remarks about their relationship when speaking about his title run and his faith.
Perry poured further fuel on the fire when talking about new TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, saying: "I will be stealing Sammy's championship and giving it back to God's favourite champion. He didn't even lose fair and square," Perry added.
Despite improving in the ring during her final WWE run, Perry is more suited as a manager, and would likely be allowed to fulfil either a managerial or in-ring role if she joined AEW, possibly even both.
