On last week's episode of Dynamite, Jake "The Snake" Roberts shocked the wrestling world when he interrupted Cody Rhodes. Upon entering the ring, Roberts told The American Nightmare he was sick of hearing him "cry and bitch" about losing to MJF and that he had come to All Elite Wrestling to slay "oh mighty Caesar." The Snake then revealed he had a client who would bring the dark side to the young promotion.

The WWE Hall Of Famer's protege was revealed last night as Roberts and former New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Lance Archer sat at ringside while AEW's EVP was in action against Ortiz. After Cody hit The Inner Circle member with a Suicide Dive, The American Psycho went to jump the barricade, but was quickly stopped by The Snake. Archer will seemingly have to wait a little while longer before he is able to hit Cody with The EBD Claw.

Archer recently signed with AEW after having a breakout year in 2019 as a singles star. He competed in his first G1 Climax in five years last summer, achieving notable victories over Will Ospreay, Bad Luck Fale, and EVIL. He then won his first singles title in NJPW at King Of Pro-Wrestling when he defeated Juice Robinson for the IWGP United States Championship. Archer would hold the gold for 82 days before losing it to Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match at Wrestle Kingdom 14.
