WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre Pulled From UK Media Appearances After President Trump Suspends Travel From 26 European Countries To The US

The Scottish Psychopath is heading back to the United States...

As of writing, WrestleMania 36 is less than one month away and will be broadcast live on April 5 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The show is set to be headlined by Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

To promote The Showcase Of The Immortals, McIntyre was scheduled to be in Edinburgh today to conduct interviews with the media and talk about the show. However, BT Sport WWE confirmed The Scottish Psychopath has been pulled from UK media appearances and will instead be returning to the United States as a precaution. This comes after President Donald Trump suspended travel from 26 European Countries to the US for 30 days because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Whether or not WrestleMania 36 will proceed as planned is not yet known. Reports overnight suggested the show was set to be either cancelled or postponed. However, we will have to wait until after the Mayor of Tampa Jane Castor and city officials meet later on today to discuss how they will proceed with major events.
