The Creed Brothers Depart WWE Following Contract Expiry

The Creed Brothers were moved to the WWE alumni section earlier today and it has been confirmed the tag team are done with WWE.

False Finish and Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp have reported that Brutus and Julius Creed departed WWE due to their contracts expiring. False Finish further noted that WWE had plans for the Creed Brothers in NXT following their return to the brand in September but the brothers had already decided they were going to allow their contracts to expire. Their final WWE appearance was on the October 20 episode of NXT when they lost to Hank and Tank in the quarter-finals of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Their exits end the Creed Brothers' WWE runs after five and six years, respectively. Julius (real name Jacob Kasper) first signed with WWE in October 2020 followed by Brutus (Drew Kasper) in February 2021 after they both impressed in collegiate wrestling.

The brothers debuted on WWE NXT in August of 2021 as part of Diamond Mine and they were prominently pushed in NXT, with WWE reportedly high on the team, especially Julius who they saw as a future main eventer. The brothers won the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and then the NXT Tag Team Championships from Pretty Deadly in June of that year. They held the belts for 92 days before dropping the titles back to Kit Wilson and Elton Prince.

The Creed Brothers moved to the main roster in October 2023 and ended up aligning with Chad Gable to form American Made in July 2024, with their former Diamond Mine stablemate Ivy Nile later joining the faction. Brutus and Julius struggled to become featured performers on Monday Night Raw, though, and they disappeared from TV after Chad Gable was sidelined with a shoulder injury in the summer of 2025, with the team, outside of one AAA match, only wrestling on WWE Main Event between July 21, 2025, and January 26, 2026.

Brutus and Julius linked back up with Chad Gable under his Original El Grande Americano gimmick in 2026 which saw them don their own masks as Bruto Credo and Julio Credo to take on El Grande Americano and Los Americanos across the WWE main roster and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. After the El Grande Americanos Mask vs. Mask Match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30, which Chad Gable lost, the Creed Brothers disappeared from TV again until they resurfaced on NXT in September.
