Lance Storm Signs With WWE As Producer

If we can be serious for a moment...

Veteran wrestler-turned-renowned trainer Lance Storm announced on Twitter Saturday that he will be rejoining WWE in a backstage agent's capacity, presumably either late this year or in early 2020.

Said Storm in the tweet, "For those wondering: After SWA closes I will be returning to the #WWE to work as a Producer. I’m really looking forward to working with such a high level of talent again."

The 50-year-old former WWE, WCW, and ECW star announced back in August that he was shutting down his Storm Wrestling Academy at the end of 2019.

As a trainer, Storm helped teach the likes of Peyton Royce, Tyler Breeze, Tenille Dashwood, Brian Pillman Jr, Oney Lorcan, Chelsea Green, and Taya Valkyrie, among numerous others.

After retiring as a full-time wrestler in 2004 at the age of 35, Storm worked as a trainer for then-developmental group Ohio Valley Wrestling, before resigning a year later to open his own school in Calgary.

Storm also worked for Impact Wrestling on a trial basis as a producer earlier this year.
