Laredo Kid Announces He's A Free Agent

Laredo Kid has seemingly exited IMPACT Wrestling

In a since-deleted tweet to promote an upcoming match with Black Taurus, Laredo Kid revealed he is now a free agent.

The popular luchador had been signed to IMPACT Wrestling but his tweet suggests he has exited the promotion. He still has one more match to air on IMPACT TV and Kid will face Trey Miguel on tonight's show from the promotion. The match was filmed back on April 29 during IMPACT's Spring Slugfest tapings.

Laredo Kid had been a part of IMPACT Wrestling since August of 2021 and he was primarily booked in the X Division. He failed to win the title on three occasions.

The 36-year-old only returned to IMPACT in March 2023 after several months on the shelf with ruptured intestines. If IMPACT are interested in re-signing Laredo Kid is unknown.

Outside of IMPACT, Laredo Kid remains a regular in AAA and on the United States independent wrestling scene. He has also previously performed in All Elite Wrestling, last wrestling for the promotion back in March 2021 when he teamed with The Lucha Brothers against Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers.
