Latest Update On WWE Plans For Andrade

The contractual situation of Andrade has been one of the most bizarre professional wrestling stories of 2025. After a firing for reported violations of WWE’s wellness policy to a return to AEW to an apparent cease and desist due to non-complete clause violations, the whole thing has been a little messy to say the least. Reports emerged amidst all of this that WWE were looking to try and bring Andrade back into the fold, with leverage of a one-year non-complete clause as a way to keep him in the company, and perhaps prevent him going to AEW. 

Fightful Select have issued an update on this particular story. When it comes to what sources are saying in WWE, there is still no one that has heard anything about Andrade being factored into creative plans. Not only that, but the belief is that Andrade is also not expected to be involved in any plans going forwards. In fact, those in WWE have heard nothing new at all on the Andrade front, with him seemingly not being discussed on the WWE side of things. 

Andrade did break his silence last week with a small social media post, and he followed suit again this week with messages about positivity and looking at the good things in life.
