Andrade Breaks Silence Amidst Contract Controversy

Andrade’s contractual situation has been one of the most bizarre stories of 2025. It was revealed on September 13 that Andrade has been fired from his WWE deal due to reported wellness policy violations, and at the time it was believed that he did not have a non-compete clause due to being fired outright.

He would then return to AEW programming on October 1, but proceeded to be absent and not mentioned from that point, before it was then revealed that he did in fact have a non-compete. 

WWE had reportedly sent a cease and desist to AEW due to him still technically being under a WWE deal, before some talk sparked of his non-compete potentially stretching to a year in length due to a breach of contract. Reports would then emerge of WWE trying to bring Andrade back amid all this controversy and contractual issues. The man himself has now broken his silence after his name has been plastered in headlines. On his Instagram account, he was asked how he was doing, to which he responded the following; 

“I have health! And that’s the most important thing.”

It seems as though Andrade is looking positively at the ongoing situation.
