Vince Russo has primarily been an analyst of pro wrestling for Sportskeeda in recent years, but the former writer for WWE, WCW, and TNA is involved in pro wrestling creative once again.

Russo noted on the final episode of BroDown that he was working with a new promotion, saying: "I'm gonna start doing something, I'm not going to say with who yet because I don't want to ruin it for them. I'm going to start doing some work with a wrestling promotion and I spent like last week…Mac I gotta tell you this, and this is the God's honest truth. The first nine shows I wrote, first of all somebody gets concussed and we talk about concussion protocol, number one. Number two, we drug test and this is in storyline now, and not only do we drug test in storyline, but the guy responsible for taking the drug test literally stands next to the stall of the wrestler to make sure they're not using somebody else's p*ss. Also, a female wrestler who is in danger of losing power pulls the #MeToo card, all in the first nine shows."

There was speculation, including from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, that Russo was working for the National Wrestling Alliance, but Russo has since confirmed on Twitter that he has become an investor in Juggalo Championship Wrestling, the indy promotion owned by Insane Clown Posse.

"I hope you can now believe me about the Dirt Sheet Media. Led by the infallible @davemeltzerWON. I have no idea where @nwa even came from. Not me. Of course, nobody even bothered to call me to ask. This is exactly what I've been saying about Wresting Journalist for years. Dave--I told you the hair dye was starting to seep into your brain. I am now a proud INVESTOR in @jcwlunacy. You are about to see things you'd never thought you'd see on a Professional Wrestling Show!!! The Mamby-Pamby, Phone It In B***S*** IS OVER!!!" Russo tweeted.

JCW's weekly show in Lunacy airs every week on YouTube. The current JCW Heavyweight Champion is 2 Tuff Tony, while the JCW American Champion is Caleb Konley. The reigning JCW Women's Champion is Haley J.

A new name is working behind the scenes in WWE, with TC of WrestleVotes reporting that Candice LeRae has been learning how to produce matches in the company.

"I spoke with a source who tells me Candice LeRae has been learning how to produce matches behind the scenes. She has been a producer for matches for WWE Main Event, including the one being filmed before #SmackDown in Tempe tonight between The Street Profits & Los Garza," TC tweeted.

Candice LeRae is currently in her second full-time run with WWE, although she has primarily been utilised on NXT in recent months, having not wrestled on the main roster since July's Evolution pay-per-view.

Rich Swann made his return to TNA Wrestling earlier this year, replacing KC Navarro in First Class. Despite his return to the promotion, though, Swann isn't actually under contract with Total Nonstop Action.

Fightful Select has reported that Rich Swann is currently working for TNA on a per-appearance deal, along with a number of other wrestlers.

Swann is a former TNA World Champion, having held the belt from Bound For Glory 2020 to Rebellion 2021.
