Layla Comments On Michelle McCool's Hall Of Fame Induction

It was revealed this week that former WWE Women’s & Divas Champion Michelle McCool would be getting inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, joining Triple H as part of the 2025 Class. This was announced to McCool in a surprise moment via WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, catching both her and husband The Undertaker off guard. 

One of McCool’s most notorious runs in WWE came during her time as part of the Lay-Cool tag team alongside former champion Layla, with the pair often in the role as the top heel act in the Divas division. Following the announcement of McCool’s Hall Of Fame induction, Layla took to social media to congratulate her former tag team partner. 

“What wonderful news today! No one is more deserving of this recognition and accomplishment. I’m truly so happy for you, Chelle! Everyone, please show your love to Michelle—she’s incredible and so dear to me. #WellDeserved #Proud.”

In late 2024, Layla stated that she was open to a Lay-Cool reunion and a WWE return - something that McCool agreed would be a fun thing to do.
