Legendary professional wrestling manager Paul Ellering would be open to an AEW run.

The 71-year-old's daughter Rachael Ellering has worked dates for AEW and sister promotion Ring of Honor since 2023 and Paul would be interested in managing her in either company.

Speaking with The Hannibal TV, Ellering said:

"Nobody's expressed it to me, if it's there. Yeah, yeah, I'd be up to it. It's always nice to be around your kids. And she has so much to offer, interview-wise and personality-wise. That's where they’re missing the boat. She's good in the ring but she has tremendous personality, and a great babyface. Really good with people."

Ellering was most recently signed to WWE, where he managed The Authors of Pain. The trio were released by the company in February.

During the same interview with The Hannibal TV, Ellering expressed his belief that WWE could have done more with the Final Testament stable they were a part of, saying:

"I thought the writers could have done more with it. There was a lot to do, especially with The Wyatt Family and the timing was right. It just never got the push that it deserved, and Karrion (Kross), he's a tremendous talent, very good on the mic and Scarlett and him make a good combination, great pair and they'll do well in the business no matter what they do, because there's a lot of talent there."

As a member of the Road Warriors, 'Precious' Paul was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
