Lei Ying Lee Still Under Contract With TNA

Lei Ying Lee has not quietly departed TNA Wrestling and PWInsider has reported the two-time TNA Knockouts World Champion is still under contract with the promotion.

Lee has been absent from TNA television since failing to regain the TNA Knockouts World Title from Xia Brookside in a No DQ Match on the July 9 episode of Thursday Night IMPACT. Lee had earlier dropped the belt to her former Angel Warriors tag team partner at Slammiversary 2026.

Lee's hiatus is because of an extended visit to her home nation of China to visit family. Lee's Instagram account notes that she was in China in August and September but she has since returned to the United States.

The 38-year-old has been a part of TNA Wrestling since making her debut in September 2024. She signed with the company in November of that year and put pen to paper on a contract extension in August of 2025.

Speculation around Lei Ying Lee's future emerged after it was revealed that several TNA deals are due to expire in late 2026. The company has already re-signed Santino Marella, while new signings include Shotzi Blackheart, Shayna Baszler, and TNA Hall of Famer Amazing Red. One name likely to exit the promotion, however, is George Iceman, the Elegance Brand's personal concierge.
