Length Of Andrade El Idolo's AEW Contract Revealed

He's sticking around for a while

Fans can expect to see Andrade El Idolo in All Elite Wrestling for a little while.

Andrade has previously worked in WWE for several years but he was granted his release from the company in March 2021. After first popping up in AAA, the former La Sombra made his AEW debut on June 4, having signed with Tony Khan's promotion the week before.

Speaking to Milenio, Andrade revealed he signed a three-year deal with AEW and he plans to win the top titles in the company.

"Now I have a three-year contract with the AEW, I've only been with them for half a year, I'm looking for the most important championships with them because I didn't get that opportunity in WWE and, in this new company, I want those opportunities," Andrade said.

Following his AEW debut, Andrade defeated Matt Sydal in his first match and El Idolo began a feud with PAC soon after. The former IWGP Intercontinental Champion won their first match in September but PAC won their second encounter on the October 21 edition of Rampage.
