Rusev on WWE Raw after WrestleMania 41

Rusev is officially back on WWE TV, having made his return during the Raw after WrestleMania 41 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Rusev made his return ahead of The New Day vs. Alpha Academy, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods quickly vacating the ring. This left Alpha Academy easy prey for the former Miro and he promptly dismantled Akira Tozawa and Otis, ending the segment by placing Otis in the Accolade.

Rusev re-signed with WWE shortly after his release from All Elite Wrestling, with it emerging that Rusev was at WWE HQ to discuss his on-screen return in March. Big E announced ahead of WrestleMania 41 that Rusev had officially re-signed with WWE.

Deadline has reported that Rusev has signed a two-year deal with WWE, with the contract being negotiated by Paradigm.

"Rusev is back to crush the WWE and become world champion. We have been cooking this up from our Bulgarian kitchen since the day we left, and with the help of Paradigm, we were able to make this a reality! Machka Crush," CJ Perry, Rusev's wife and manager, told Deadline.

Rusev previously wrestled for WWE from 2010 until his release in April 2020, becoming a three-time United States Champion. Rusev was then a part of All Elite Wrestling as Miro from September 2020 until his release in February 2025, having a 140-day reign as TNT Champion in 2021.
