Rusev's WWE re-signing has been made official.

After pulling out a Rusev trading card from 2017 during a Fanatics Live session at WWE World in Las Vegas, Big E officially announced that Miro has re-signed with WWE.

"Someone that has just been announced to return. You didn't see that? I reached out to him, and he confirmed that the news is indeed true. I don't know when he'll be back, but there is Rusev. A blast from the past. And actually this is very topical because he has just announced that he is returning to the squared circle here in World Wrestling Entertainment," Big E stated.

It emerged in early April that Rusev had signed a new contract with WWE, only a couple of months after he was released by All Elite Wrestling. WrestleVotes has reported on WrestleVotes Radio that Miro will be going by Rusev upon his WWE return, and his return is near as he has shown up on promotional documents.

Rusev was previously a part of WWE from 2010 until his release in 2020. He is a three-time United States Champion.
