Current Planned Opening Matches Of WWE WrestleMania 41 Revealed

Fans will be YEETING as soon as WWE WrestleMania 41 begins on Saturday, April 19.

WrestleVotes has reported on WrestleVotes Radio that the current plan is for Gunther vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship to open WrestleMania 41 night one. The opening match of night two of WrestleMania is currently planned to be the Triple Threat for the Women's World Title between IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley.

Jey Uso noted earlier this week that, having missed out on the main event, that he wanted to open WrestleMania:

"I really hope I'm on first. Obviously, I wanted to main event. We know that's not going to happen, which is okay with me. I feel like if you’re on a WrestleMania card period, that’s something big, man. It took me almost 10 years to even get on the main card. So I'm humble with this. But I just want to go first, night one if I can. Set the tone, for sure."
