Update On WWE Creative Pitches For Becky Lynch's Return

Becky Lynch has been under contract with WWE since the new year but the former Women's World Champion has yet to resurface on the company's programming.

That doesn't mean WWE haven't made creative pitches for Lynch's return and a pitch for Lynch's comeback in January would have seen her involved in a multi-person match of some form, Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful's The Hump. The match didn't end up happening, however.

"Imminently, I don't know. There was creative pitched to/for her in January and it didn't end up happening. I don't know exactly what the creative is but I know it was not like a one-on-one match...Fightful Select reported a few months ago she's signed and she's been signed. She's been under contract for months, at least like four or five, from what I know of. But she hasn't been like brought to TV to do anything or anything like that. She's very smart, though, she knows what creates buzz. But she also doesn't want lazy booking, I don't think that she wants that. I think she wants something inspired and I can't blame her," Sean Ross Sapp said.

Becky Lynch has been gone from WWE TV since her WWE deal expired in June 2024. She joined the company in 2013.
