Miro (AKA Rusev) could soon be back on WWE TV.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Miroslav Barnyashev has re-signed with WWE and he was spotted at WWE HQ in Stamford, Connecticut on Wednesday, April 2. Miro was at the company's headquarters to "set the stage for his return."
WWE's plans for Miro are unknown. It is also unclear if CJ Perry (AKA Lana) will return with Miro but she was not with her husband at WWE HQ on Wednesday.
Miro became a free agent following his February departure from All Elite Wrestling. The 39-year-old was expected to return to WWE after his AEW exit.
Miro will be the latest ex-AEW talent to sign with WWE in 2025. Ricky Starks and Rey Fenix received their own AEW releases earlier this year, with Rey Fenix set to make his debut on the April 4 episode of SmackDown. Ricky Starks, meanwhile, debuted on WWE NXT in March and he won the NXT North American Title this week. Malakai Black - who exited AEW when his contract expired - has been teased on WWE TV and he will reportedly resurface after WrestleMania 41.
Miro previously wrestled for WWE as Rusev from 2010 until his 2020 release, becoming a three-time United States Champion. Miro then spent five years in AEW, winning the TNT Championship on one occasion.
