Leon Slater Signs With TNA Wrestling

TNA have snatched up promising British prospect Leon Slater

British independent standout Leon Slater has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.

It was announced that the 19-year-old up-and-comer had inked a long-term deal during IMPACT Wrestling's UK Invasion show in Coventry on October 28.

Slater made his IMPACT/TNA debut on the first night of the group's UK tour (October 26). He signed his contract in the ring during Saturday's show, after a losing effort to TNA mainstay Frankie Kazarian.

It has been quite the busy month for Slater, who was recently crowned the winner of the Revolution Pro Wrestling British J-Cup tournament and made his New Japan Pro Wrestling debut at Royal Quest III in London.

Slater made his in-ring debut in 2019 and has made regular appearances for promotions such as PROGRESS and Game Changer Wrestling. He has also been something of a viral hit on social media thanks to clips of his spectacular Swanton 450 splash finisher.

IMPACT Wrestling will revert to its former TNA branding beginning with the Hard to Kill pay-per-view on January 13.
