Leyla Hirsch has parted ways with All Elite Wrestling following the expiration of her contract.
The Russian-born grappler had been with AEW for five years, having debuted in October 2020 before signing a full-time deal with the promotion. Per a report from PWInsider, Hirsch's deal expired today - March 1, 2025 - with Hirsch entering free agency immediately.
‘Legit’ had a stop-start run in AEW, and sister promotion Ring of Honor. Whilst in the beginning stages of a push in 2022, Hirsch suffered an ACL tear in April 2022, subsequently missing over a year of action. Upon her return to action, Hirsch wrestled primarily on ROH TV, engaging in a bitter feud with Diamante in the latter half of 2024.
Hirsch’s last match for AEW/ROH was a loss to ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet at Final Battle in the Hammerstein Ballroom in December 2024. This was not only Hirsch’s last match for ROH, but her last match at all, with Leyla yet to compete in 2025.
During her time in AEW, Hirsch picked up wins over the likes of Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale, and even challenged Kamille for the NWA Women’s World Championship at the Empowerr pay-per-view event in August 2021.
