Former WWE star Lince Dorado will replace the injured Joaquin Wilde at the upcoming WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event.
The change was revealed on last night's edition of NXT when WWE displayed an updated graphic for the match. Wilde was scheduled to team with Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro to take on the AAA trio of Aero Star, Octagon Jr. & Mr. Iguana, but was knocked out during his WWE Speed match with Lexis King prior to this past Monday's edition of Raw and has been removed from the show.
WWE x AAA Worlds Collide will take place on Saturday, June 7 and will stream on YouTube.
Lince Dorado wrestled for WWE between the summer of 2016 and November 2021, when he left after asking for his release. The former Lucha House Party member later revealed that he requested his release because he didn't like his position in the promotion.
The 38-year-old subsequently worked as a guest coach and consultant for WWE, before returning to the company as a coach for WWE NXT in January of this year. Dorado has wrestled a handful of times in dark matches and on NXT live events since re-signing with WWE.
