Lio Rush Says He'll Be A Free Agent After February 14

Has announced he's taking bookings

In a tweet posted Saturday, Lio Rush has revealed that his AEW contract expires next month.

Rush wrote in the body of the tweet, "I'm a free agent" while posting a graphic captioned, "On February 14th, 2022, my contract will expire with AEW and I will become a free agent. For all booking inquiries please email LioRushNow@gmail.com"

Rush made his first AEW appearance as the "Joker" entrant in the Casino Battle Royale of last year's Double or Nothing pay-per-view. He signed a contract with AEW on September 29, and made his official contracted in-ring debut with the company on the November 10 Dynamite, teaming with Dante Martin to defeat Matt Sydal and Lee Moriarty.

Rush was part of an angle where he guided Martin, who was also being courted by Team Taz. Martin feigned joining the group before double-crossing them during the Dynamite Diamond battle royal on December 8.

That battle royal marked Rush's most recent match with AEW. He's remained active with DEFY and New Japan Strong, and is scheduled to wrestle at The Wrld on GCW on Sunday.
