Raquel Rodriguez comforts Liv Morgan following a physical confrontation on WWE Raw in 2024

Liv Morgan is set to take time off from WWE programming, with Morgan stating on the April 28 edition of Monday Night Raw that she was "needing time off to film a big Hollywood movie."

In an update on the situation, Morgan's need for time off is legitimate. PWInsider has reported the film project that Morgan is involved in will be officially unveiled next week and the 30-year-old has a major role in the movie.

Where this leaves the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships is unknown. Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez regained the belts from Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria on the Raw after WrestleMania and they are currently in their fourth reign together with the titles.

Morgan has been one of the top stars in the women's division in recent years and she was the Women's World Champion on Monday Night Raw for several months, holding the title from May 2024 until January 2025 when Morgan lost the championship on the Netflix premiere of Raw to Rhea Ripley.
