Multiple titles changed hands at NJPW's Wrestling Hizen no Kuni from Saga, Japan on Tuesday, April 29.
The first title change of the night saw El Phantasmo regain the NJPW World Television Championship less than one month after he dropped the belt to Great-O-Khan at Sakura Genesis. ELP picked up the win following multiple Sudden Deaths to O-Khan before he followed up with the Thunderkiss 86 for the pinfall victory.
With his win, Phantasmo is now a two-time NJPW World Television Champion, while O-Khan's reign only lasted 24 days. O-Khan is still a champion in New Japan, however, having won the IWGP Tag Team Titles with Callum Newman at Wrestling Redzone on April 26.
The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships changed hands in the semi-main event as Master Wato & YOH defeated Ichiban Sweet Boys of Robbie Eagles and Kosei Fujita. The challengers scored the win with their tag team Drop The Needle finisher.
The TMDK team of Fujita and Eagles had been champions since Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4. The loss at Wrestling Hizen no Kuni ended their reign after 115 days.
Master Wato, meanwhile, is now a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, having previously held the belts with Ryusuke Taguchi in 2022. YOH also became a six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. He previously held the belts on five occasions with SHO as Roppongi 3K.
The only successful title defence on the show saw El Desperado retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against CMLL and United Empire's Templario following two Pinche Locos.
