WWE: Unreal is set for a Summer release on Netflix. The documentary series promises to take viewers inside the WWE writers' room, giving an unprecedented insight into the promotion's creative process. However, the trailer already revealed some secrets ahead of time.

According to a report by Fightful Select, various WWE Superstars are said to have learned of their scrapped WrestleMania plans from the Unreal trailer itself. The discovery was made from a whiteboard at WWE HQ that was displayed in the trailer. It showed WWE's original WrestleMania plans from around December 2024 or early January 2025.

The matches listed on the whiteboard were as follows:

  • Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena - Undisputed WWE Championship
  • Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk or Seth Rollins
  • CM Punk or Seth Rollins vs. Gunther - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair - Women's World Championship
  • Jade Cargill vs. Nia Jax - WWE Women's Championship
  • Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
  • Wyatt Sicks vs. Judgment Day
  • Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. IYO SKY & Asuka
  • AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
  • Bad Bunny vs. Dominik Mysterio
  • Bron Breakker vs. Drew McIntyre
  • Rey Mysterio vs. Chad Gable

This isn't the first report to indicate that news of WWE: Unreal's upcoming release has ruffled feathers behind the scenes. There have also been stories of an internal belief that the curtain is being raised too much for fans.
