Liv Morgan Wins WWE Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Liv Morgan has won Money In The Bank!

WWE establish a new rising star.

The Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match opened Saturday's Money In The Bank pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it was Liv Morgan who captured the briefcase, overcoming Becky Lynch, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, Shotzi, and Lacey Evans.

Becky Lynch looked set to win the match down the stretch after she took out much of the field. Liv Morgan suddenly scaled the ladder next to The Man, though, and she survived Lynch's push attempt by using the rope to propel the ladder back to a standing position. Morgan then decked Lynch and climbed the ladder to grab the briefcase and win the Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

With the win, Morgan can cash in the briefcase at any time for a women's title shot. The Raw Women's Champion is currently Bianca Belair, while the SmackDown Women's Champion is Ronda Rousey.

Morgan's Money In The Bank win comes after a year in which her popularity amongst WWE fans became obvious. She had been featured on TV, including in a Raw Women's Title feud with Becky Lynch in late 2021 and early 2022.
