Lola Vice Says Goodbye To WWE NXT Following Underground Match

Lola Vice's time as part of WWE NXT appears to be over following the August 4 episode of the show from the WWE Performance Center.

Vice failed to regain the NXT Women's Championship from Kendal Grey in an Underground Match in the main event of WWE NXT, ultimately tapping out to an armbar. Vice raised Grey's arm to close out the show, putting over the new NXT Women's Champion on the way out.

After WWE NXT went off the air, Vice appeared to confirm she was done on NXT as she said her goodbyes to the fans at the WWE Performance Center and left her MMA gloves in the ring.

Recent reports had noted that Lola Vice was expected to be main roster-bound and land on Friday Night SmackDown, the brand that features her real-life boyfriend Damian Priest. This came after Vice dropped the NXT Women's Championship to Kendal Grey at Great American Bash, and Vice and Mr Iguana lost the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles to La Hiedra and Laredo Kid at AAA Verano de Escandalo.

Lola Vice has been signed to WWE since 2022, joining the company after an MMA career that saw her secure a 4-1 record in Bellator. Vice re-signed with WWE in the summer of 2025.
