Lucha Bros And The Briscoes To Wrestle Each Other For First Time At House Of Glory Salvation
The two teams have never crossed paths in traditional tag action
House of Glory Wrestling have announced a huge first-time-ever match-up as former AEW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers are set to take on the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions The Briscoe Brothers at HOG Salvation on March 11.
Amazingly, the two teams have never crossed paths in a traditional tag team setting, with the team of Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero M, and LA Park defeating The Briscoes and RUSH in six-man two-out-of-three-falls action at a CMLL show in August 2018 being the only time the four have shared a ring.
Widely regarded as two of the greatest tag teams on the planet, The Lucha Bros vs. The Briscoes is true dream match territory, and will surely add more fuel to the rumours of Mark and Jay Briscoe joining AEW, with the ROH cornerstones being heavily linked with the promotion since ROH announced it’s Q1 2022 hiatus.
No word yet if The Lucha Bros HOG Tag Team Championships will be on the line, with Fenix and Penta having held the gold for over 980 days after defeating previous champions Santana and Ortiz in June 2019.
