Major Scrapped AEW All In Plans For Kenny Omega Revealed

Kenny Omega was set for a huge All In match before injuries got in the way

There has been a lot of rumbling when it comes to Kenny Omega’s plans for AEW’s upcoming Wembley Stadium show of All In. With it now seeming as though Omega will either face Konosuke Takeshita in a singles match or team up with Adam Page & Kota Ibushi to take on Jay White, Juice Robinson, & Takeshita, these weren’t the original plans.

A report from Fightful Select has indicated that the original Wembley Stadium plans would’ve seen a major rematch between Omega and Bryan Danielson, who wrestled to a 30-minute time limit draw all the way back at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in 2021.

“Sources confirmed that Kenny Omega vs. Bryan Danielson was at least considered for the show before the injury, and even for a little bit after the injury, as the company hoped he’d be ready for a return. However, AEW sources claimed that were were also other plans for Omega, but didn’t hear what those were. It was reiterated to Fightful that Omega and Danielson was considered, but not planned.”

No match announcement for Omega has been official as of yet.
