The WWE Women's United States Title tournament is set to conclude at Saturday Night's Main Event and who is currently planned to walk away as the inaugural champion has been revealed.

According to Dr Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda, Chelsea Green is "currently slated to win the U.S. Championship tournament and become the inaugural champion at Saturday Night's Main Event." Green was one of the favourites to win the belt when the brackets were first revealed.
The semi-finals of the Women's United States Title tournament still need to be held on Friday's edition of SmackDown before the final at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. The semi-finals will see Chelsea Green take on Bayley, while Tiffany Stratton will go one-on-one with Michin.
Chelsea Green has established herself as a popular performer since returning to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble and she was tipped by many to win the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which was ultimately won by Tiffany Stratton. Green is a one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, having held the belts with Sonya Deville and Piper Niven.
WWE Saturday Night's Main Event will be held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Tickets are still available for the show.
